“I don’t know when I was born. After finding my forever home, I had lived a truly happy life. Now, above the highest cloud, I watch after all the pets I can.”
Adoption Story
I came to my forever home as a rescue. They do not know what happened to me in my early years, but I needed time to recover first at the rescue center. The center helped me become me again and some family took me in. Though after about a week, we parted ways, and I was back at my rescue. One day I was sitting in my kennel outside a per store for an adoption event, not paying attention to anyone. Until someone came to my cage. I didn’t want to be bothered so I meowed at them. And it didn’t scare them away. Somehow, in that moment, they decided that that’s all that mattered. They went home and after a little time my care takers received an email that I should come and visit these new people. Now, I lived a train ride away. I got into my carry-on kennel and was on my way. And let me tell you something: from the moment I stepped out of my kennel into this new place, I knew this was my space. I got some food, treats, and I fell peacefully asleep on a high chair. All I knew is that they were taking me in. Unfortunately, the paperwork still needed to be filled out … (bureaucracy), so I couldn’t stay there that night. But in short few days, I got adopted, and I never looked back. The years that followed had been my best years.
Legacy
One day, there will be Bruno’s Sanctuary. And it will help many animals in need.
